Diplodocus' whole project is an attempt to reverse time: to bring back the fearful creatures that once roamed the Earth - and those old movies that tried to imagine and celebrate their world. It is only fitting, then, that Slow and Heavy itself also performs a time-inverting trick, with the firt half feeling more gloomy and sinister, and closing on an incendiary note - and this second half sounding much more epic and majestic, bringing the thunder lizards back to the full apex of their domain.
